Have you watched the ‘BTS Week’ special on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”?
Among the five performances that took place for five days, the performance of “IDOL”, which recorded more than 18M views on YouTube, was filmed at ‘Geunjeongjeon Hall’ in Gyeongbokgung Palace.
Geunjeongjeon Hall (National Treasure No. 223) was a place where enthronement and significant state ceremonies were held during the Joseon Dynasty and it is said to be very exceptional to hold K-Pop performances here.
Also, the stage of the “Mikrokosmos” was performed at Gyeonghoeru Pavilion in Gyeongbokgung Palace, which was used for royal banquets. With colorful lights under the full moon, the performance of BTS dressed in hanbok-inspired outfits makes us feel a bit surreal.

Gyeongbokgung Palace was the first palace of the Joseon Dynasty, and only one performance has been held within Gyeongbokgung Palace so far.
But the second time, BTS performed at Gyeongbokgung Palace.

It seems to be designed to promote travel to Korea at a time when it is impossible to travel to Korea due to the spread of the Corona 19 virus.

I live in Korea, but I haven’t seen the night view of Gyeongbokgung Palace yet, so I’ll have to apply for a night view.
