In the end, Space Sweepers, a movie starring Song Joong-ki and Kim Tae-ri, gave up opening a movie and chose Netflix.
Netflix announced on November 20 that it will release the movie “Space Sweepers” exclusively to 190 service areas around the world.
The movie “Space Sweepers” was scheduled to be released in August 2020, but it was postponed due to the spread of the Corona 19 virus to Chuseok, a Korean holiday, but it has not been released until now.
As the world enters its third Corona 19 virus spread, and Korea seems to have chosen Netflix as the number of new coroners increases.
Since the movie was made with a large investment of 24 billion won in Korean films, it seems to have been burdensome to open a theater, and I personally think it might have been possible to go to Netflix after a short movie opening in Korea.
Space Sweepers is the first space science fiction film to be produced in Korea, starring Song Joong-ki, Kim Tae-ri, Jin Sun-kyu and Yoo Hae-jin.
Personally, I’m looking forward to the movie, but I should watch it on Netflix now.
No date has been set for the release of the movie, “Jin Sun-kyu,” on Netflix.
