The 2024 Seoul International Fireworks Festival will be held on Saturday, October 5th. It is a major autumn festival in Seoul that attracts nearly a million people every year.
The fireworks show will take place at Yeouido Hangang Park and will run from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM. The specific schedule has not yet been released, but if you are in Seoul on October 5th, I recommend heading towards Yeouido Hangang Park.
The Seoul International Fireworks Festival is not directly organized by the Seoul city government, but by Hanwha.
Due to the geographical limitations of the Han River, it is now considered smaller in scale compared to the Busan International Fireworks Festival, which takes place over the sea in Busan.
However, its biggest advantage is that it is held in Yeouido, the heart of the Korean metropolis, Seoul. You can see it just by taking the subway, bus, or bicycle near Yeouido Hangang Park.
As many people gather, parking will not be available on the day of the event, and subway line 5 will pass through Yeouinaru Station without stopping.
