There is a drama that I don’t miss these days. It is a drama called The King: Eternal Monarch starring Lee Min-ho and Kim Go-eun.
It is aired once on tvN on Friday and Saturday, and is also distributed on Netflix.
The biggest point of The King: Eternal Monarch drama is that Kim Eun-sook wrote a scenario.
Kim Eun-sook is a drama writer who wrote Secret Garden (2010), A Gentleman’s Dignity (2012), Mr. Sunshine (2018), Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (2016), and Descendants of the Sun (2016).
Kim Eun-sook is enjoying her heyday thanks to the high ratings and favorable reviews of these three works.
But in this drama, writer Kim Eun-sook is under public criticism. In particular, the relationship between the prince and the heroine on the white horse continues, and it deals with outdated romance.
Even though Lee Min-ho and Kim Go-eun are not good at acting, they can’t erase the awkward feeling.
Nevertheless, Dirk’s ratings are likely to continue to rise.
Because it is the work of Kim Eun Sook.
If the story continues like this, The King seems likely to remain a controversial work by Kim Eun-sook.
Still, I’m going to keep sitting in front of the TV in time to look forward to the second half. Because the story hasn’t arrived at the climax yet.
