On August 21, at 8 p.m., a tropical low depression Igme was created in the northern sea of the Philippines.
And the tropical depressioon Igme developed into a typhoon at dawn on the 22nd.
This is Bavi, the 8th typhoon of 2020.
Typhoon Bavi’s expected path is as above.
It is expected to land in Korea on August 27 after passing Jeju Island or near Jeju Island on August 26.
Typhoon Bavi is expected to grow into a medium-sized typhoon in the middle.
As it comes to Korea right away, typhoon damage is expected.
In particular, it is a big problem that the current route is not to land south of Korea and exit east, but to land south of Korea and move north.
Typhoon Bavi, we’ll have to keep an eye on it and try to minimize the damage.
Change the expected path of Typhoon Bavi
Unfortunately, Typhoon Bavi’s predicted travel route has changed.
It is expected to pass through Seoul to North Korea.
South Korea is expected to suffer heavy damage as it is expected to pass with the power of a minimum medium-sized typhoon.
Let’s hope it will pass without much damage on August 26th and 27th.
Typhoon Bavi’s Last Expected Path
Eventually, Typhoon Bavi is expected to cause great damage to Korea.
In South Korea, it will not land but pass to the west coast and land in North Korea.
As Korea is right on the right side of the typhoon, be careful of the damage caused by strong winds.
