The movie peninsula tells the story of 4 years after going to Train to Busan.
Director Yeon Sang-ho, who directed “Train to Busan,” continued to direct the film, while Kang Dong-won and Lee Jung-hyun starred as main characters.
Why are zombies in Korean movies when I saw them for the first time? That’s what I thought, but I thought I did a good job of implementing zombies.
The zombie movement in the limited space of the train was good and the story of dragging out the movie was good.

Director Yeon Sang-ho also directed a film called “Psychokinesis” in 2018 after his train to Busan, and I remember it being well-made to suit the situation in Korea with the movie about the supernatural. I had fun watching it.
There are stories saying that the sequel is less fun than the main one, and I hope the movie peninsula proves that this is wrong.

I don’t like the car theater because of its sound and quality.
I think we should watch this movie when it is released so that we can watch it at home.
There is no story about zombies in Korea.
There are stories about ghosts, goblins, and Gumiho(legendary fox with nine tails).
Nevertheless, it seems that zombie movies are being released because they target overseas.
Train to Busan has also gained popularity abroad, and I look forward to seeing the peninsula gain popularity abroad.

The movie Peninsula recorded the highest record in 2020 with 353,000 viewers on the first day of its release and 223,000 on the second day, accumulating 578,000 viewers in two days.
It is the largest audience since the spread of Corona 19.
As of July 27, the number of visitors in Korea is over 2.8 million.
There seems to be a lot of audiences overseas as well.
I don’t know if the peninsula is a really good movie, or if there’s no other movie to compete with because of the Corona 19 virus, but I think it’s good news for the film industry.
