Lotus lantern festival(YeonDeungHoe) which is held on Buddha’s birthday, has not been held for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Lotus lantern festival 2022 will be held normally this year.
The lighting ceremony has already been held on April 5.

Lotus lantern festival is a festival that can be enjoyed regardless of religion.
If you are in Seoul during this period, it would be good to see the parade, and if you don’t have time, you should visit Cheonggyecheon.
