Burger King of Korea announced on its official website that it would provide more sauces and vegetables if it was difficult to provide tomatoes due to long monsoon rains and typhoons.
The price of tomatoes has risen a lot this year due to the long rainy season and the typhoon.
For this reason, Burger King seems to have made the above announcement.
McDonald’s and Lotteria are expected to make similar announcements in the near future. Lotteria seems to have plans to lower the price of burgers if it lacks tomatoes.
