If you like Korean dramas, you may have heard of Dae Jang Geum.
The title is Dae Jang Geum in Korea, but it is also called ‘Jewel in the Palace’ abroad.

Dae Jang Geum is a really well-made drama based on historical facts.
It is now said that it has been remastered with HD quality.
I don’t know how good the quality will be, but I think it will show better images than the existing SD quality.
But there is no talk of sound improvement.
I guess they’re only improving the quality.
There are many legendary dramas similar to Dae Jang Geum in Korea. All of these dramas will probably be remasters with HD quality.
If the re-mastering of Korean masterpieces goes well, it may also be registered in global OTT services such as Netflix.
Or, Korea’s OTT services, such as Wavve, may start overseas service.
