Busan Tourist Map 2025 (Latest Edition) – English PDF Download Guide

Busan’s official English tourist map has a new edition: the 2025 Busan Tourist Map (39th edition, published July 2025). As of now, this is still the latest version, so if you’re planning a trip to Busan, this is the one to get.

I downloaded it myself to check what’s inside, and honestly, the first thing that surprised me was the file size. More on that below, because it’s something you should know before you hit the download button.

What’s Inside the 2025 Busan Tourist Map

The map is a large two-sided fold-out, designed to be printed. The front side is a full map of Busan, and the back side has detailed maps of the most popular areas plus photo guides to major attractions.

Front side

  • A full city map of Busan with major attractions, temples, beaches, markets, and parks
  • Tourist Information Center and Culture Tour Guide contacts
  • The 1330 Korea Travel Hotline and consulate contact information
  • Transportation info: airlines, trains, express and intercity buses, ferries, and cruises
  • Busan Metro line map (Lines 1–4, Busan-Gimhae Light Rail, and the Donghae Line)

Back side

  • Detailed maps of five popular areas (see below)
  • Photo cards introducing Busan’s major attractions
  • 10 recommended Busan souvenirs
  • Busan City Tour Bus information

Personally, I found the Metro line map and the area maps the most useful. The full city map is great for getting the big picture, but once you’re actually walking around Nampo-dong or Seomyeon, the area maps are what you’ll keep coming back to.

5 Area Maps at a Glance

Haeundae

Haeundae Beach, SEA LIFE Busan Aquarium, Nurimaru APEC House, BUSAN X the SKY, Haeundae Blueline Park (Mipo Station), Cheongsapo Daritdol Skywalk, Haeridan-gil, Centum City, Busan Cinema Center, and BEXCO.

Gwangan

Gwangalli Beach, Gwangan Bridge, Millak-dong Raw Fish Street, and Millak the Market. This is the place to be at night when the bridge lights up.

Nampo-dong

Jagalchi Market, Gukje Market, BIFF Square, Yongdusan Park, Bosu-dong Book Alley, Bupyeong Kkangtong Market, the 40-Step Stairs, and Yeongdo Bridge. The map also marks food streets like Bupyeong-dong Jokbal Street and the Nampo-dong food alleys, which is a nice touch.

Seomyeon

Jeonpo Tool Street and Jeonpo Cafe Street, Seomyeon Medical Street, Lotte Department Store, KT&G Sangsang Madang, and Busan Citizens Park.

Osiria

Lotte World Adventure Busan, Skyline Luge Busan, and Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, one of the few Korean temples built right on the seaside cliffs.

How to Download the 2025 Busan Tourist Map (Official Link)

You can download the English PDF from the official Visit Busan website:

Download the Busan Tourist Map (Visit Busan – Guidebook & Map)

Before you download

The original PDF is about 300MB. On mobile data it may take a long time or fail altogether, so I recommend downloading it on Wi-Fi, ideally on a PC or tablet. The map is designed as a large fold-out print, so you’ll need to zoom in to read the details on a phone screen.

If the link doesn’t work

Korean public institutions tend to change their URL structure whenever they renew their websites, and download links often break in the process. If the link above doesn’t work, please leave a comment below, and I’ll find the new one and update this post.

My Tip for Using the Map

Don’t try to use the whole map on your phone while you’re out. Before your trip, look through it once on a bigger screen to get a feel for where each area is, then save screenshots of just the area maps you’ll actually visit. It’s much faster than zooming around a huge file on a busy street.
