Paldo Bibim men is the best-selling and oldest bibim myun in Korea.
First sold in 1984, it was initially only available during the summer, but now it is sold all year round.

While “Paldo Bibim myun” or “Paldo Bibim myeon” would seem to be the correct way to spell it, Paldo’s official website uses “Paldo Bibim men,” so I will follow their spelling.

Upon its release, it quickly gained immense popularity, and the TV commercial catchphrase “Mix with your right hand, mix with your left hand” became a massive hit.

Paldo Bibim men

Paldo Bibim men is the least spicy among all the bibim myun sold in Korea.
Other brands of bibim myun, including Jin Bibim myun, which was released later, are slightly spicier than Paldo Bibim men, so if you are trying this type of bibim myun for the first time, I recommend Paldo Bibim men.

Although it consists only of noodles and liquid sauce, it is not low in calories, so be aware of that. I recommend eating it with boiled eggs or frozen dumplings.
If you like vegetables, I also recommend adding cucumbers or lettuce.

In Korea, especially among the younger generation, there is a growing trend of enjoying Paldo Bibim men in various combinations. New attempts are constantly being made, such as eating it with Samgyeopsal or golbaengi (sea snails).

If you like Korean food or Korean instant noodles, I highly recommend giving it a try.
