Cool Cheongpung is the soju of Chungcheongbuk-do.
If I write it in English pronunciation, it’s Ciwonhan Chengpung.
Because “Ciwonhan” is Cool in English, it seems to be named Cool Cheongpung.
It can be confusing because it has a similar pronunciation to C1 Soju, Ci Soju is a soju of Busan.
Cool Cheongpung soju is readily available in retail stores in Chungcheongbuk-do, but is not found in other areas.
Honestly, I’m not an expert in soju, so I don’t know the difference in taste.
I could only see that Cool Cheongpung had a slightly higher ABV of 17.2%.
